You all know Che Guevara. You've all seen his face, but maybe you just didn't know it. I think this will clear it all up.

This is the picture that you've all seen on t-shirts and coffee mugs and bags and pretty much anything that can be printed on. (Bonus points if any of you own such a t-shirt and bring it on wednesday!) But what makes Che Guevara so great that he gets to be on so many t-shirts? Well for one, he's handsome. But he is also a great leader, and a symbol of rebellion and of communism.
For Wednesday's module, it would be good if you know more about Che's beliefs, and about communism in general, in order to do well in your activity. You are expected to already have a decent knowledge of capitalism, its ideals, and how it works.
So here's a website about Che's beliefs:
http://www.che-lives.com/home/modules.php?name=Content&pa=list_pages_categories&cid=1You don't have to read every page, just pick some that seem interesting. The quotes are good, as is the first one about Man and Socialism, and the speech to the UN.
And just because it's a great movie, here's the trailer for Che, which you will be watching excerpts from on wednesday:
Ok, see you all on Wednesday!
